To Do before Presentation

  1. Always Practice your talk
  2. Always Test your environment
  3. Prepare for worst question

Preparation Tips

  1. Spend only Max 3 min per slide. So Plan your talk
  2. Write only 20 words per slide
  3. Title size 36 to 40. Body 24 points max. Its good readable for 20 feet distance
  4. Make important points big size than the other fonts
  5. Use They instead of Him/Her. Don't finger point
  6. Use good background color in presentation i.e. Light blue, gray etc
  7. Make 3 points recursively and plan your presentation on these 3 points
  8. Avoid capital/bold letters too much
  9. Less Graphs/Pictures. Use stats
  10. Use example than overview
  11. Use shift key to re-size picture
  12. Consistency of slides theme
  13. Don't use numbers as they show priority and order. Use bullets instead.
  14. Use very very clear fonts and styles that are easily readable

Presentation

  1. Start on time
  2. First 30 sec impact matters only so plan what you want to say at this time
  3. Eye contact with audience
  4. Ask Question and Wait
  5. Be silent after saying important point
  6. Dynamic sound pace
  7. Try to talk to peoples to keep interest
  8. If something goes wrong then laugh and make some joke
